    Para Equestrian, Judo, Para Lawn Bowls, Para Rowing, Para Sailing, Shooting Para Sport, Para Table Tennis, Bowling and Wheelchair Fencing, Wheelchair Tennis, Wheelchair Dancing, Para Karatedo and Wheelchair Basketball)
     

  4. Exhibition (Development of Para sports in Hong Kong, Medals of multi-sports games, Hangzhou 2022 Asian Para Games)
     

  5. Sharing (Athletes Sharing, Introduction of Classification)
     

  6. Para sports performance

Participation in the programs onsite will offer you a chance to redeem valuable gift packs.
The redemption method will be announced on the day of the activity. Gift sets are available on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last.

When is Paralympic Day?

Paralympic Day will be held at Hong Kong Sports Institute on 23 July.

Any admission fee required for joining Paralympic Day?

No admission fee is required, Paralympic day is a free event and aims to promote Para-Sports to the public.

I am not a disabled person, can I join the event?

Yes, Paralympic Day is a public event and welcomes anyone to join.

How to join the event and get into the event venue? Any entrance ticket required?

Yes, all Participants are required to pre-register at the event website, and show the QR Code from the registration email to the staff before entering Hong Kong Sports Institute

Can I register at the door?

Yes, but there is a limited quota for each session, and it is first-come first-served basis. To have better crowd control, it is suggested participants pre-register and reserve the tickets for easier and smoother entrance. It may have a chance that the session is full and participants cannot get in.

Is there any age limit to join Paralympic Day?

No, there is no age limit to join Paralympic Day, all ages are welcome.
Paralympic Day is a public event and no other limitation and welcome anyone to join.

What kind of activities will be included in Paralympic Day?

Paralympic Day’s activities include Opening Ceremony, Sports Demonstration, Athletes Sharing, Exhibition and Booths.
Participants will also have a chance to win a free gift pack. (Limited quota on a first-come,
first-served basis.)

It is also a Horse Racing Day on the same day, any special transportation arrangements?

There will be a free shuttle bus service operating between Tai Wai Station and Hong Kong Sports Institute on the event day.

How to get to the event venue?

There are two ways to go to the event venue:
1. Participants can take the free shuttle bus from Tai Wai Station to Hong Kong Sports Institute.
2. Participants can walk around 5 mins from Fo Tan Station to Hong Kong Sports Institute.

TRANSPORT

  1. Get off at Fo Tan MTR station and exit at Exit A. Walk across the footbridge leading to Hong Kong Sports Institute.















     

  2. Free shuttle rehabuses between Tai Wai MTR station and Hong Kong Sports Institute will be provided. Disabled persons have the first priority to use the service.

  • Depart from Tai Wai MTR Station Exit B (Public Transport Interchange):
    9:30am - 5:30pm

  • Operate at every 15 minutes

  • Departure time of free shuttle rehabus service may be adjusted according to actual traffic conditions without prior notice

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Participants joining this event are deemed to understand and agree to abide by all terms and conditions. The Hong Kong Paralympic Committee reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice, and such changes will also apply to new or existing participants.
     

  2. The Committee will take photos and videos throughout the event. The photos and video clips may be used for promotion and publicity in the future.
     

  3. The Committee reserves the right to retain the personal information provided by the participants for future promotional purposes.
     

  4. Vacancy for event participation is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.
     

  5. The number of gift sets for the event is limited while stocks last. The redeemed gift sets cannot be exchanged for cash or for other gifts.
     

  6. The Committee shall not be liable for any claims or expenses for any damage, injury or loss caused to the participants or their property.
     

  7. The Committee reserves the right to change the event details. In case of any disputes, the decision of the Committee shall be final.
